According to a news release,Shortt on Textron Aviation expansion, headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, has confirmed intentions to expand its distribution operations by 180,000 square feet in an effort to meet the demand of customers who operate Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawke products. Textron Aviation's senior vice president of global parts and distribution, Kriya Shortt, has remarked, "We take pride in supporting the thousands of aircraft made by Textron Aviation." The expansion will help us to better meet the demands of our customers for replacement parts, as stated in the following quote: "Customers expect us to have components accessible to keep them flying."A larger size is needed to accommodate the thousands of Textron Aviation-built aircraft in use around the world. Additionally, Textron Aviation will be able to better use its stock levels for other product lines by continuing to invest in inventory to support new and existing models like the Cessna SkyCourier and the Beechcraft Denali.
