The Virginia Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is sponsoring two new state projects that benefit livestock, birds, and pollinators as part of the Conservation Investment Grant (CIG) programme, which has been running for over 20 years. The 2022 announcement prioritised soil health and habitat restoration to engage partners and landowners in research and demonstrations of new technologies, practises, and systems. "Fortunately, two of the world's most prominent conservation organisations have stepped up with plans to test out novel answers to these resource concerns, each of which has gotten its own financing."
